Test your assistant

Test your assistant in the browser, by microphone with its real voice or by text.

Assistants › Assistant name › Test

Before real callers arrive, try your assistant here, without a phone. The Voice test is at the top, the text test below it. Both run in the assistant's language, whatever language your dashboard is in.

Voice test

You talk to your assistant through your microphone, with its real voice and just like a phone call. Click Start test call and allow your browser to use the microphone.

  • Mute mutes your microphone, Hang up ends the test.
  • A test call ends on its own after a fixed time. A countdown shows how long it has left.
  • Only one test call runs per assistant at a time.

A test call is a real call: bookings land in your calendar and the summary email is sent. For test bookings, pick times you can free up again afterwards.

On the call: you hear what callers hear: greeting, voice, speaking pace and how the assistant handles interruptions.

Text test

If you'd rather type, have the same conversation in text. The assistant greets you with your greeting and answers as it would on the phone.

  • Type a message: write the way a caller would speak and send with Enter.
  • New conversation: starts over.
  • Download: saves the conversation as a text file.

What to test

  • "Do you have anything free next week?": availability
  • "I'd like an appointment on Wednesday at 2 pm.": booking. If you don't name a service and several could fit, the assistant asks.
  • "I'd like to cancel my appointment.": cancellation
  • "Can you move my appointment to Friday?": rescheduling
  • "How late are you open on Saturdays?": questions about your business, answered from Business, Services and the Knowledge base

Good to know

  • If the business name or trade is missing under Business, you see Your assistant does not know your business yet. Testing still works, but the assistant cannot say whom it speaks for.
  • Changes to the settings apply from the next test conversation. New answers under Questions & answers take a few minutes.
  • Don't test by calling from a number you entered as a transfer target or forwarded number: it counts as your business's own.
