Account

Your home page with all workspaces and your profile: name, email, password, multi-factor authentication.

Back to Account › Home · Settings › Profile

Your account belongs to you as a person. From a workspace, Back to Account at the bottom of the sidebar brings you here; the menu with your name takes you to Home from anywhere.

Home

Home shows every workspace you belong to as a card:

  • Calls this week and Appointments booked
  • the number of calendars and members
  • the workspace's Assistants, each with its phone number once one is assigned
  • Open workspace takes you into the workspace

Create new workspace adds another workspace, for example for a second location.

Profile

Under Settings › Profile you manage your personal details. The cards from top to bottom:

  • Your Profile Picture — a photo shown next to your name.
  • Your Name — how the other members of your workspaces see you.
  • Language — the language of the interface.
  • Update your Email — the address you sign in with. You confirm the new address via a link.
  • Update your Password — your sign-in password.

On the call: callers hear none of this. The assistant's language is set on the assistant.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Protects your account with a second factor: after your password, FlowCaptain also asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app.

  1. Click Setup a new Factor.
  2. Enter a name you'll recognise the factor by (e.g. "iPhone") and confirm with Set factor name.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from the app.

The factor then appears in the list, where you can also remove it.

Linked Accounts

Shows which methods you sign in with — for example email and password, or Google.

Danger Zone

Delete your Account deletes your account and the workspaces you are the primary owner of. This can't be undone. Workspaces in which you are only a member remain for the others.

Good to know

  • No access to the authenticator app any more: without the second factor you can't get into your account. Set the app up on a new device before you give the old one away.
  • Email changed, sign-in fails: the new address only applies once you have clicked the link in the confirmation email.
