Calendar API

Try the API with this calendar and copy the values for connecting your own voice-bot platform.

You only need this tab if you connect your own voice-bot platform or another system to FlowCaptain. If you use the FlowCaptain assistant, there is nothing to set up here.

This tab lets you try the API with exactly this calendar and gives you ready-made values for your platform. What the API can do and how to connect it is described under For developers.

Test API

Under Action you choose what to try:

Check Availability: you type a request in plain language, such as "Tomorrow at 10 AM", and click Test. Example queries: offers suggestions to click. If the slot is free, Book this slot books it straight away.
Book Appointment: with date and time, the caller's name, and optionally a reason and a service.
Cancel Appointment and Reschedule Appointment: you find the appointment by the caller's name and optionally the date.

Response shows what the API returns.

Integration Guide

This holds the values for the connection, with the calendar ID already filled in. The guide has three tabs:

MCP: the MCP URL, the header, and the Auto-discovered tools your platform will know afterwards.
REST API: Base URL, Authentication and examples for checking availability, booking, cancelling and rescheduling, each with parameters and an example response. Interactive API Documentation opens the full reference.
Platform Setup: ready-made configurations for common voice platforms, see Platform setup.

The full values need an API key. Until you have one, the guide shows Create an API key first to see the full configuration. How to create one is described under API keys.
