Shared Times for Linked Calendars

When two appointment types use the same Google Calendar, FlowCaptain now detects it automatically and plans their times together — no more double bookings for the same person or resource.

One Person, Two Appointment Types, Zero Double Bookings

Many businesses use the same Google Calendar for multiple appointment types — for example, drop-off and in-house appointments handled by the same person or workbench. Until now, FlowCaptain didn't know that both claim the same time. Now it does.

Automatic Detection

When you connect a Google Calendar that's already used by another appointment type, FlowCaptain asks: Do both belong to the same person or resource? One click on "Yes" is all it takes — from then on, their times are planned together. Whatever is booked in one appointment type is blocked in the other.

Visible in the Dashboard

Linked calendars are easy to spot: as a bracket in the sidebar, as a "Shared times" badge in the calendar header, and with a direct switch between the two appointment types.

Preferred Appointment Type

You choose which appointment type callers book more often in this calendar — so your assistant makes the right default choice in conversation. And if the link was a mistake, you can undo it with one click.
